Description
Clarice is a domestic short haired calico - white with orange and black. We found this kitten behind the chicken yard the night of July 22nd, 2008. She was just crying and crying. I was able to scoop her about before she ran away. She was your typical found outside lost kitty - ears filled with mites and gunk, her body covered in fleas and she had an eye infection. Clarice was given immediate care by Animal Care Center. She has also since had thorough veterinary work done, including spaying. Clarice is a very calm and sweet cat. She can be quite the lap kitty. And she is chatty which is enjoyable. She is happy to be a house cat, but also does fine outdoors; we have not seen her ever hunt wildlife. Clarice never has potty "accidents" always uses her litter or goes outside. She does not scratch the furniture, but rather her own cat scratchers. Her favorite game is a peek-a-boo game in the bathtub. Clarice is currently on a diet of Solid Gold Katz-N-Flocken from Nauti Paws Pet Boutique. The treats used for training are "Cat on the Go" also from Nauti Paws. During the summer months we don't offer a raw diet because of sanitary reasons in this heat.
