Hi! My name is Mama. I was pregnant when I came into the shelter, so I was rescued and placed in foster care. I am very gentle, laid-back and easy going. I walk well on a leash, and would love to be your new best friend. Bertie County Humane Society offers a low adoption fee for all pets. Any pet obtained through us must be surgically sterilized. Baby & young pets can go home with their new owners, but must have a veterinarians appointment already made for them. Adolescent & adult pets must be sterilized before they will be allowed to go to their new home. Whenever funds are available we offer a spay/neuter voucher to help with the cost of the required surgery. If interested please call immediately for adoption procedures.
